The John Avery Boys & Girls Club (JABGC) is a non-profit organization that has been at the epicenter of Durham since 1939. The Club provides After-School programs, Tutoring, Mentoring, Saturday Academy and Summer Camp. JABGC has been the only organization within Durham that has consistently provided a safe alternative for at-risk and underprivileged youth. The Club strives to inspire and enable all youth to engage in constructive and educational programs and activities so they may realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
