How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr. Holly Latty-Mann is the president and co-founder (with the late Dr. Jim Farr) of The Leadership Trust®. She specializes in facilitating leadership workshops, performing comprehensive leadership impact studies, corporate assessments, onsite team-building workshops, and strategic culture studies for diverse businesses and industries.
Latty-Mann earned a doctorate from the University of South Carolina in experimental psychology (social psychology/personality). She completed her post doctorate in clinical psychology at Kent State and Duke University Medical Center. She served as Executive Professor of Leadership at the Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management and later formed alliances with other major North Carolina universities including Duke's Fuqua School of Business, their Coach K Center of Leadership and Ethics.
Doc Holly has served on boards for the study of interpersonal relationship dynamics, published work in both academic and non-academic journals, and presented her research findings across the United States and abroad. She now devotes full time to running and growing The Leadership Trust® while making time for pro bono workshops for non-profit organizations.
Holly's serious passion is animal welfare; semi-serious passion, piano, and her lighthearted passion is foreign travel, having traveled extensively and mostly for fun to more than 50 foreign countries. When in North Carolina, you'll find her on tennis courts or hiking and biking her favorite trails. She promises it's no exaggeration that cycling a good trail creates a huge childlike state within her. "Total freedom, total joy, one big smile!"
